  1. Can I modify the title of my paper (moderately)?
ANSWER: Yes - you can; as long as the modified title reflects the content of the accepted paper.

  2. Can I add/remove/modify the names of the authors of my paper? Can I change the order of the authors? Can I change the affiliations of the authors?
ANSWER: Yes to all the above questions - as long as the change has been discussed with and agreed by the co-authors.

  3. If I am unable to attend the conference (eg. due to delays in obtaining USA visa, rejection of USA visa, flight difficulties, unanticipated funding problems to cover the costs of airfare/hotel, other personal problems), would my paper still be published?
ANSWER: Yes, as long as one of the authors of the paper registers for the conference and pays the registration fee (for authors, the conference fee covers the publication/printing/copyright/... fees of the author's own paper). Authors of accepted papers who cannot attend the conference but have registered and paid their conference fee must follow the instructions shown below (as well as the instructions that appear in the acceptance notification already sent to them):
  4. My paper WAS NOT accepted. Can I dispute the rejection decision?
ANSWER: Yes you can. You should provide a detailed explanation as to why you feel that the referees' comments were unjust. Send your explanation to editor@world-comp.org - the co-editors would then have a member of the program committee evaluate your statements. Statistics: In 2011, we received 67 such dispute statements; 11 were accepted (ie, decision on 11 papers were reversed -> accepted.)
